Nature Notes: Bird of Prey Nesting Season – January 19, 2015

Lately, we’ve been seeing birds of prey starting to build nests. Today we saw a hawk carrying a large stick. Last week it seemed like one of the eagles at Cuyamaca Lake was carrying nest building materials. I’ve also heard rumors that ospreys have been spotted building nests.
